The State EMS Medical Director may approve EMS protocols for Non-Transport EMS entities that follow the National Model EMS Clinical Guidelines.
The Office of Emergency Medical Services and Acute Care Systems will license non-transport EMS operators, including fire department and law enforcement agencies, with statewide off-line medical control agreements. Such agencies must submit an application for licensure as a Non-Transport EMS (NTEMS) site.
