Injury and Violence Prevention
Injury and violence are leading causes of death and disability across Mississippi. Our programs address the root causes of trauma and promote safe, healthy environments for all Mississippians.
Programs
Mississippi is one of 26 states funded under the Core State Injury Prevention Program (CSIPP) grant from CDC's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control. The Office of Injury and Violence Prevention implements programs for the four CSIPP focus areas as well as other injury and violence prevention programs. More about the Core SIPP →
