Iceberg Lettuce Recall
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is investigating an outbreak of Cyclospora illness that has been linked to some iceberg lettuce products. As a safety step, Taylor Farms has recalled certain iceberg lettuce products sold in stores and used in restaurants.
What You Should Do
- Check your refrigerator for recalled Marketside iceberg lettuce products with best-by date between July 18th and August 3rd, 2026.
- Do not eat recalled lettuce. Throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it.
- Wash any containers or surfaces that may have touched the lettuce.
Symptoms
Symptoms of Cyclospora infection may include:
- Diarrhea
- Stomach cramps
- Nausea
- Loss of appetite
- Tiredness
Symptoms can begin several days to two weeks after eating contaminated food.
If you or your child become sick after eating recalled lettuce, contact your healthcare provider right away.

Egg Recall
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a recall of some eggs because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, a bacteria that can cause food poisoning. These eggs were sold at Brookshire grocery stores in Mississippi, Louisiana and other states, and Kroger stores in Louisiana and Texas.
What You Should Do

- Wash and sanitize any surfaces, containers, or utensils that may have touched the eggs.
