Jackson, Miss. — In an ongoing effort to make healthcare more accessible and ensure patients get the services they need, the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) is excited to now offer self-scheduling of appointments through MyChart.
Self-scheduling through MyChart is an easier, more convenient way to access care, allowing clients to quickly see available days and times that work for their busy lives with just a few clicks of a device. That means no more waiting in line at one of our clinics or trying to call during business hours.
Services available for self-scheduling include the following:
- pregnancy testing (with no parental consent needed for those under 18)
- pre-pregnancy/pre-conception counseling
- family planning and birth control counseling
- contraceptives and free condoms
MyChart also makes it easier to manage other healthcare needs, including:
- communicating with your doctor
- requesting prescription refills
- accessing your test results
- and more
Create your account online at msdh.ms.gov/mychart or download MyChart now in the App Store to begin self-scheduling your appointments.
