Community Interpreter and Medical Terminology Training

MSDH offers Community Interpreter and Medical Terminology training courses to address language-based health inequities.

Community Interpreter training caters to bilingual individuals seeking to enhance their interpreting skills and extend their knowledge of properly conducting a successful interpreting session. Training is open to all who meet the following requirements:

Schedule

  • $375.00 per person for 48 hours of Community Interpreter training, Medical, Educational, and Social Services Interpreting, and the Medical Terminology course.
  • $350.00 per person for 40 hours of Community Interpreter training only (without Medical Terminology).
  • $100.00 per person for Medical Terminology training only. (Open only to those who have previously completed MSDH's Community Interpreter training.)
